Has anyone taken this test and received clarification on immunity or how to understand individual immune response? I am curious if there are others who are immunocomprised who can share their experiences with receiving the vaccine and going through testing such as this. I read people have been getting two different values/ranges from LabCorp for this test. Is this an acceptable range/number? Low or high? I am not finding much on a baseline or how to interpret the results. I am surprised I produced any response to the vaccine due to having a primary immunodeficiency. The results of this semi-quantitative test should not be interpreted as an indication of degree of immunity or protection from reinfection. PCP is also consulting with infectious disease specialists on antibody results before making an appointment with their office.Ĭuriosity got the best of me so I paid to get the Semi Quant Total from LabCorp. PCP ordered it to find out if I produced a response to the vaccine due to my primary immunodeficiency. I took a IgG antibody test for the spike protein on 6/8/21 which came back positive. whereby changes in plasma antibody levels (IgG and total) are determined over 12 months on individuals residing in over 300 associated nursing homes, extended care facilities and over-55 residences following vaccination with one of the authorized SARS-CoV-2 vaccines (Pfizer, Moderna or J &J). I received my second dose of Pfizer on 2/18/21. This is a single arm study by Southlake Diagnostics Inc.
I do produce immunoglobulin but at deficient levels. 33 year old male diagnosed with common variable immunodeficiency back in 2012.
